ClearCorrect is a clear aligner system designed to move teeth into improved alignment. It is a removable, near-invisible alternative to traditional braces, manufactured by Straumann — a well-known dental company with a long history in orthodontic and restorative solutions.
Transparent, custom-made aligners sit over your teeth and are designed to be less noticeable than fixed braces.
Take them out to eat and to clean your teeth — no food restrictions and easier day-to-day hygiene than fixed braces.
A 3D scan and digital plan set out how your teeth are expected to move. Actual movement varies between individuals and is reviewed at each appointment.
Your dentist assesses your dental health and alignment needs before recommending ClearCorrect or another suitable option.

The treatment process
We review your dental and medical history, examine your teeth, gums and bite, take digital 3D scans and discuss expectations, timing and cost.
Your dentist creates a customised plan showing how your teeth are expected to move. Digital scanning replaces mould impressions — faster, more precise, more comfortable.
Aligners are typically worn most of the day and changed every 1–2 weeks as directed. Regular review appointments monitor your progress.
Once the active phase is complete, retainers help maintain your new tooth positions. Your dentist explains the most appropriate option for you.
ClearCorrect treatment is generally comfortable. Because aligners are removable and customised to your mouth, most people adapt quickly to wearing them.
Aligner treatment does not involve surgery, and local anaesthetic is not typically required for aligner placement. If your plan includes attachments — small tooth-coloured supports bonded to teeth — these are placed with care and should not involve pain.
If other procedures are recommended alongside aligner therapy, local anaesthetic is used where appropriate to ensure the area is numb and comfortable.
We use modern 3D digital scanning to capture precise images of your teeth, with several advantages over traditional impressions:

A clear aligner system made by Straumann. A series of custom-made, transparent aligners are worn over your teeth, each designed to make gentle adjustments to tooth position over time.
Consultations for clear aligners and tooth veneers are provided at no charge, so you can understand the treatment options available and what the process involves before deciding whether to proceed.
Experiences differ between individuals. Many patients report mild pressure or sensitivity when starting a new set of aligners, which commonly settles within a few days. Tell your dentist if discomfort persists.
Not typically. Aligner treatment does not involve surgery. Where other procedures are planned alongside your aligners, local anaesthetic is used where appropriate for comfort.
Treatment length varies considerably between individuals, depending on your starting position and how consistently the aligners are worn. Your dentist will give you an estimated timeframe as part of your treatment plan.
Yes. Aligners are removed for eating and drinking, then cleaned and put back in — so you don’t have the food restrictions that come with fixed braces.
